What happens in The Walking Dead Season 3?
Walking Dead Season 3 picks up right after the events of Season 2 after Rick Grimes kills Shane and the destruction of the Greene Family Farm due to a swamp of Walkers. In this season, Rick takes up the role of a dictatorial leader, instructing and promising everyone that they all will survive if they listen to him. As the series progresses, they come to a well-secured place, the city prison, which thankfully was stocked with food, ammunition, and supplies. As the group grows accustomed to the area, their supply runners Glenn and Maggie get kidnapped by Merle Dixon (who went missing in season 1) and his group working for the Governor.
To save Glenn and Maggie, Rick and his group attempt to break into the Governor's territory in Woodbury Alley. This caused a war resulting in death on both sides. In this war, Rick lost his wife Lori Grimes after she gave birth to Judith. This caused both Carle and Rick to go under serious depression causing him to leave his weapons and try to live a normal life.
