"We were very close:" Sister Wives star Meri Brown recalls her friendship with Robyn

TLC's Sister Wives Season 20 will return with its new episode on April 20, 2025. Ahead of the upcoming episode release, People Magazine shared an exclusive clip on April 17, 2025, featuring Meri Brown and her best friend, Jenn. The two discuss Meri's relationship with Robyn Brown and more.

Sister Wives star Meri Brown also revealed the reason behind the "divide" in her friendship with Robyn. Fans must know that, after Kody Brown's three wives, Christine, Janelle, and Meri, decided to leave him, he and Robyn are still together.

In the exclusive clip, which is from the upcoming episode, Meri shared with the cameras:

"I know that mine and Robyn's relationship was a good and I felt very solid in it. Like we were very close and then it started...there was a divide."

In the exclusive video clip shared by People Magazine on April 17, 2025, Sister Wives star Meri Brown could be seen discussing her relationship with Robyn. While talking to her best friend Jenn, Meri stated:

"There's so many people that are like she (Robyn) was a fraud, she was a liar, she was manipulating and I....."

Seeing Jenn's reaction, Meri stated she knew "that look." In response, Jenn said that she was "cautious" and didn't think it was "intentional manipulation."

"I do think, that Kody decided that he had this new person that was like this new inside with him..." added Jenn.

Meri added:

"The new shiny toy."

Jenn agreed with Meri and said that it was just Kody and Robyn against everyone, and then Robyn "acted" like she was Meri's best friend. Later on, she "completely ignored" Meri and hurt her feelings.

"Like that's really f*cked up. Like either be an a*sshole or don't," said Jenn.

Sister Wives star Meri Brown confessed to the cameras that her relationship with Robyn was "good" and that she felt "solid." Despite them being "close," there was a "divide."

Later in the video, Robyn, in a separate confession, stated that she always had Meri's back.

"I always had Meri's back. Even when people were plotting against her, ignoring her and I never felt the divide, other than when she moved that was one thing that's changed. She changed it after that but I...I always cared," confessed Robyn.

Fans witnessed Kody's third wife, Christine, leave him in November 2021, after which Janelle and Meri followed. Robyn and Kody are still together. As the TLC show is set to return, fans will learn more about the latest events in their lives.
