Ghosts, the CBS show, follows a young couple, Sam and Jay, who inherit an old mansion called Woodstone. They decide to turn it into a bed-and-breakfast—but there’s a twist: The mansion is haunted by a whole group of quirky, unique ghosts from different time periods, who once lived and died in the mansion.

As the episodes progress in Ghosts, Sam experiences a near-death moment. This gives him an absurd ability to see and communicate with ghosts, leading to chaotic, hilarious, and surprisingly heartfelt situations. One of the ghosts is Flower, played by Sheila Carrasco. She is portrayed as a free-spirited hippie ghost in Ghosts, whose backstory and development have added depth to the series.

In a recent interview, Sheila Carrasco discussed the Season 4 finale, describing it as "different and equally terrifying." Read on to know what she said.

In an interview with Collider, the actress talked about the finale of the season:

"The season finale is going to give you a huge surprise at the end, and it's going to leave you nervous about the future of one or more residents. What I'll say is that it's not going to be like any other cliffhanger we've had, so I don't want people thinking, 'Oh, that means somebody could…' It's different and equally terrifying."

So far, in Ghosts, Flower's belief that the world is ending leads her to disrupt the opening of Jay's restaurant, Mahesh, by enlisting the help of the basement ghosts to incapacitate the kitchen staff. In life, Flower was a part of what she believed was a peace-and-love commune in the 1960s. But as the show gradually reveals, it wasn’t just a hippie hangout—it was actually a manipulative cult, led by a man named Bruce.

Therefore, season 4 also explores Flower's journey towards self-awareness, as she begins to unlearn the falsehoods instilled by the cult, and starts to recognise the supportive family she has found among the Woodstone ghosts. She told TV Insider on February 13, 2025,

"Flower was in this cult for at least a few years. I mean, she was probably one of the top people in the cult by the time she left. We don’t know why she actually left, which I think is going to be another cool thing we can explore in the future.”

Carrasco expressed hope that Flower would become more discerning and continue to surprise her fellow spirits with her insights in Ghosts.

The new episode, I Know What You Did Thirty-Seven Summers Ago, is set to drop on April 24, 2025, at 8:30 PM ET on CBS. It will be diving into some mystery and horror-themed comedy. A local politician shows up at Woodstone to uncover old secrets. This will probably reveal the backstory related to a ghost.
