Fans who have been missing Guiding Light alum Michael O'Leary (Rick Bauer) will be happy to know that the beloved actor has suddenly racked up some primetime procedural drama credits that will have him back on TV screens this spring.
The actor took to Twitter to share that he recently shot an episode of CBS' FBI: Most Wanted, in which he plays the character of Howard Kirkland. The airdate isn't available yet, but O'Leary teases that it'll be can't miss because Howard is a "key role" in the episode.

Exciting news to share! This week I'm shooting an episode of 'FBI: Most Wanted' in the key role of 'Howard Kirkland'. Air dates announced soon!https://t.co/4wIgqIq2q9
FBI: Most Wanted follows several fictional special agents of the FBI Fugitive Task. Julian McMahon (Ian Rain, Another World) stars as Supervisory Special Agent Jess LaCroix, an expert tracker and profiler; Kellan Lutz stars as Kenny Crosby, a former Army Intel vet that Jess took under his wing; Roxy Sternberg stars as Sheryll Barnes, an ex-NYPD detective; Keisha Castle-Hughes stars as Hana Gibson, the team analyst; and Nathanial Arcand stars as Clinton Skye, a marksman with a law degree and Jess's brother-in-law. Together, they are tasked with tracking and capturing dangerous fugitives on the Bureau's Most Wanted List.
Meanwhile, O'Leary also recently announced that he will star in the pilot episode of the upcoming NBC series Law & Order: Organized Crime, which is set to premiere on Thursday, April 1.
"On the set of 'Law & Order: Organized Crime' with Christopher Meloni & Mariska Hargitay -- Premier April 1!" the actor tweeted earlier this month. In a separate tweet, he revealed that his character is Father Hogan.

A spin-off of the long-running series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and the seventh series in the Law & Order franchise, Law & Order: Organized Crime will star Meloni as his SVU character Elliot Stabler, who returns to the New York City Police Department after a personal loss to lead a new task force that battles organized crime. Once there, he finds that the criminal justice system has changed over the past decade.
Michael O'Leary played the role of Guiding Light's iconic character Rick Bauer from 1983 until the soap's cancellation in 2009. He's only had a couple of credits since that time -- small appearances on Steamboat, The Bay, and New Amsterdam -- so his "return" to television in the high-profile FBI and Law & Order series is very exciting for fans. Here's hoping it's just the beginning for the Minnesota native!
