He uses a magical serum to significantly slow down the aging process and give himself more strength. A mystery mercenary named Gregor, who had previously fought Ka-Zar, was a major influence in Kraven's hunter training. Kraven formerly dated Calypso, a voodoo priestess.

Aaron Perry Taylor-Johnson plays Kraven the Hunter. He is well-known for playing the title role in Kick-Ass (2010) and its follow-up in 2013, as well as Pietro Maximoff in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), which is also set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
