Lilo & Stitch is a franchise that began in 2002 with the release of the first film that revolved around Lilo, an orphaned Hawaiian girl, and Stitch, an artificial extraterrestrial creature who she adopts. It was soon followed by a television series that also received rave reviews. In the years since the series, Disney has produced three more sequel films, a short film, video games, theme park attractions, and more.
