American actor and producer Wyatt Russell is the son of Hollywood icons Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn. Born on July 10, 1986, in Los Angeles, California, he initially pursued hockey professionally in Europe. Following his retirement from the sport, he shifted to a career in film and television. His career in the industry began with minor roles in films also featuring his parents, such as “Escape from L.A. (1996)” and “Soldier (1998).”


Since then, he has delivered standout performances in productions such as the 2018 horror film “Overlord” and the 2021 TV mini-series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.” For his performance in the latter, he has been nominated for several awards, including a Gold Derby Award, an OFTA Television Award, and an HCA Award. Russell has been married to actress Meredith Hagner since September 2019. The pair met while working together in “Folk Hero & Funny Guy” in 2016.

After featuring in “Escape from L.A. (1996)” and “Soldier (1998),” Russel played Doubting Thomas in the 2006 short comedy “The Last Supper.” Since then, he has portrayed characters such as Little Mickey in the 2011 science-fiction drama “Cowboys & Aliens,” Deputy Anders in the 2013 horror thriller “We Are What We Are,” and Willoughby in the comedy “Everybody Wants Some!!.”


More recently, he depicted Ray Waller in the horror mystery “Night Swim (2024)” and the Masked Dancer Host in the comedy “You’re Cordially Invited.” He will star as True Brandywine in the upcoming western drama “Broke (2025)” and as John Walker in Marvel’s “Thunderbolts* (2025)” and “Avengers: Doomsday (2026).”

Russell’s television debut was in Season 1 of “Law & Order: L.A” in 2010 where he guest-starred as Sam Loomis. Later, he also guest-starred in “Arrested Development” in 2013 and “Black Mirror” in 2016. One of his most significant roles on television is as Sean ‘Dud’ Dudley in the mystery drama series “Lodge 49 (2018-2019).”


He first portrayed John Walker in Disney+‘s 2021 series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” and will return to the role in upcoming productions. More recently, he appeared in the 2022 mystery drama “Under the Banner of Heaven (2022)” and “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters (2023-2024,” in which he starred together with his father Kurt Russell.
