The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) has announced the presenters and categories that will be given out at the upcoming 47th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, set to hit the airwaves this Friday, June 26, at 8PM on CBS.
As Soap Central previously reported, the ladies of The Talk -- Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, Eve, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Marie Osmond -- will be hosting the broadcast. They will be joined by several presenters from soap operas, including: Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman, The Young and the Restless), Patrika Darbo (ex-Nancy Wesley, Days of our Lives; ex-Shirley Spectra, The Bold and the Beautiful), Wayne Brady (ex-Reese Buckingham, B&B), James Reynolds (Abe Carver, DAYS), Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester, B&B), Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos, General Hospital), Kelly Ripa (ex-Hayley Santos, All My Children; Live! with Kelly and Ryan), and Eric Braeden (Victor Newman, Y&R).
Non-soap presenters will include Gayle King (CBS This Morning), Scott Evans (Access Hollywood), Kelsey Grammer (Light as a Feather, Cheers, Frasier), Kathie Lee Gifford (Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee, Today Show), Cookie Monster (Sesame Street), Kevin Frazier (Entertainment Tonight), Michael Strahan (Good Morning America; GMA3: Strahan, Sara & Keke), Ryan Seacrest (Live! with Kelly and Ryan), Nate Burleson (EXTRA), and Sunny Hostin (The View).
The above names will be presenting Daytime Emmy Awards virtually to the winners of leading categories, with recipients and other special guests appearing from home in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Categories scheduled for the CBS broadcast include the following:

Digital Drama categories will be streamed in a separate virtual ceremony on July 19th. Children's, Animation, Family Viewing, and Lifestyle Programming categories will be streamed in an additional virtual ceremony on July 26th. More details and information regarding these programs will be released at a future date.
UPDATE: NATAS has corrected its initial statement to indicate that winners in the non-televised categories will be announced after the CBS broadcast has ended.
