Daytime favorite Jen Landon (ex-Gwen Munson, As the World Turns) recalls a mortifying "audition no-no" she did while trying out for the part of Teeter on Yellowstone.

Jen Landon is a superstar actor, having won the hearts of soap opera fans and winning multiple Daytime Emmy awards during her five-year stint as As the World Turns' Gwen Munson, which she followed up with the roles of Heather Stevens on The Young and the Restless and Hillary Nelson on Days of our Lives. But her extensive experience in the world of daytime didn't prevent her from making a huge blunder during her audition for Yellowstone.

In a video interview with her cast mates from the Paramount Network series, Landon opens up about how incredibly nervous she was while auditioning for the role of Teeter.

"I didn't think I was going to get it, at all, and I thought I tanked the audition," she recalls. "I was so nervous, I kept having the casting associate read the scenes again. 'Just do it again.' Which is also a big audition no-no... And then I was so mad that I had messed it up, that I sort of checked out my body, and on the way out, you know, they're like, 'Goodbye, thank you very much,' and I was somehow back home with my family, and I said, 'Goodbye. I love you, too!'"

Landon was so mortified, she recalls, "I walked out, and I called my manager, and I'm like, 'I'm quitting! I just told the casting associate I loved her!'"

Fortunately, the blunder didn't actually lead Landon to quit acting, and the actress was thrilled to learn that despite the uncomfortable audition, she landed the role of Teeter.

"I think I am Teeter, deep down," the actress shares. "I think I am a feral, sh**-kicking little weirdo!"
