Winston performed an emergency heart valve replacement surgery. There was no pulse in her leg, so she was rushed to the OR for surgery to remove the blood clot. Owen blamed himself for not taking her to the dentist and for giving her a smoothie instead. At the end of the episode, Teddy finally wakes up in the ICU with Owen by her side.
