Nancy Dolman also used to work in the entertainment industry. She appeared in several TV shows including Soap, and she also performed in Jesus Christ Superstar, a rock opera. Nancy later decided to step away from acting to focus on her household and raise her kids.
She supported Martin throughout his career and played a big role in their children’s lives. In 2010, Nancy Dolman passed away from ovarian cancer. Her death was a great loss for Martin and their children. Martin has openly spoken about how difficult it was to lose her but has always kept her memory alive. In an interview with AARP, he said, “Our marriage was a triumph,” “So it’s tough. She died in 2010, but I still communicate with her all the time. It’s ‘Hey Nan,’ you know? How would she react to this decision or that, especially regarding our three kids.” He added, “I believe that when people die, they zoom into the people that love them. The idea that it just ends, and don’t speak of them — that’s wrong….to me, she’s still here.”
