The character of Maggie Pierce in Grey’s Anatomy is played by American actress Kelly J. McCreary. Born on September 29, 198, the actress dedicated 10 years to Grey’s Anatomy and made a huge name for herself playing the role of Maggie. The actress started her career in the television industry back in 2004 playing Kelly in the series Cyberchase.


Kelly J. McCreary is seen in other major television roles such as The Electric Company, Rubicon, I Just Want My Pants Back, Scandal, Castle, Station-19, and many more. Apart from working in the television industry, Kelly has also been credited for appearing in movies like How to Follow Strangers, Life, Baby Baby Baby, The Middlegame, A Cohort of Guests, and 88.


Talking about her personal life, McCreary revealed in 2019 that she is engaged to director Pete Chatmon. The duo had met each other 2 years before their engagement on the sets of Grey’s Anatomy, and later on May 4, 2019, the duo got married. In 2021 the couple revealed that they were expecting their first child and weeks later on October 3, 2021, the couple revealed that they had a daughter.
