
Jeremy Allen White is an American actor best known for his roles in TV shows and independent films. He was born on February 17, 1991, in New York, United States. He initially pursued dance and performed ballet, jazz, and tap dance. At the age of 13, he decided to pursue acting and has been working in the entertainment industry since 2006. White made his film debut with the 2006 film Beautiful Ohio, and in the same year, he also made his TV debut with a minor appearance in the show Conviction.
White got his breakthrough with the role of Phillip 'Lip' Gallagher in the hit show Shameless, which aired from 2011 to 2021. After Shameless, he went on to lead the show The Bear as Carmen 'Carmy' Berzatto, which currently has three successful seasons. Jeremy Allen White’s upcoming projects

Jeremy Allen White has many upcoming projects lined up in the coming years. White will be reprising his role as Carmen 'Carmy' Berzatto in Season 4 of The Bear. In an interview with Esquire UK, White talked about the filming of Season 4 and said, “I know it’s not going to be until [2025], I imagine sometime early next year, a similar start date to the last couple of years: February/March time.”
White will be seen in the upcoming biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere directed by Scott Cooper. The film is based on the 2023 book Deliver Me From Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska written by Warren Zanes. White will be playing the role of Bruce Springsteen in the film. In October 2024, the first look of the film was released by 20th Century Fox. The film is currently under production and in an interview with GQ, White talked about the film and said, “I’m really lucky that there’s sort of a team of folks now in place to help young actors portray rock stars…. I’ve got a really talented group of people helping me train vocally, musically, to get ready for this thing.”
