One month ago, Hope took to social media with a heartfelt message to fans that thanked them for their support and confirmed that she was moving on in her career.

"I've been waiting for the right time to say this, but I've realized the more I wait, the longer it takes me to move on and accept life's new chapter," she wrote. "Thank you to all the Sally and Spectra fans! Your love and support has meant the world and I will miss you all. Hopefully Sally can return to ‘Los Angeles' Fashion' soon, but until then, I love you all. It's been the greatest year and I will forever be thankful for my time as Sally Spectra."

She continued: "It's been an honor to be a part of B&B, and I am grateful for the memories and friendships made! God apparently has new and bigger plans for me at the moment, and I can't wait to see what those are! Again, I love you all and hope to entertain and hang out with you again very soon!"

Hope made her debut as Sally Spectra - - the original Sally Spectra's grandniece -- back in January of 2017. The show also introduced Patrika Darbo as Shirley Spectra as part of a fun Spectra family revival. Sally's storylines included a heated fashion battle with Forrester, a brief flirtation with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), and a romance with Thomas Forrester (Pierson Fodé). The latter relationship is what carried Sally offscreen: she and Thomas moved to New York City to start a new life together.

So, what brings Sally back to town so soon after starting her happily ever after with Thomas? Fans will have to continue tuning in to find out!
