Tricia Cast is once more reprising her role as The Young and the Restless' Nina Webster and will be back on fans' screens really soon!

It's only been a handful of weeks since The Young and the Restless' Tricia Cast was last seen in Genoa City, but fans already miss the actress and her legacy character, Nina Webster. Fortunately, the CBS soap opera is bringing her back to the canvas: Soap Opera Digest reports that Cast will be stepping back into Nina's shoes beginning Thursday, February 4.

Exact storyline details surrounding Nina's reappearance are unclear at this time, but rumor has it she'll be playing a part in Chance (Donny Boaz) and Abby's (Melissa Ordway) storyline. As fans may recall, Nina was last seen in Genoa City just after the couple's wedding in December, at which time she gifted the newlyweds a very special present: an angel that Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) had given to Nina and Chance when he was a small child. Sadly, the angel hasn't brought the recently wedded pair much luck. Chance and Abby are having trouble conceiving a child of their own, and they have approached Mariah (Camryn Grimes) to be a potential surrogate.

Unfortunately, Cast's return is expected to be short-term. But as always, the actress is sure to pack a punch during her limited time back on the canvas.

Cast originally joined Y&R in 1986 and won a Daytime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Younger Actress category in 1992 for her work on the CBS series. Prior to her return at the end of 2020, she last appeared on the show in 2014, when Nina attended a ceremony commemorating the one-year anniversary of the death of Katherine Chancellor.

It was also announced that Tyler Johnson will be reprising his role as Theo Vanderway. For more on that, continue reading here.
