Y&R's Greg Rikaart takes on tough new role

Got a problem with the law? Then take it up with the new character played by The Young and the Restless' Greg Rikaart (Kevin Fisher) in Major Crimes.

Fans have been waiting for months to see the debut of The Young and the Restless' Greg Rikaart (Kevin Fisher) in TNT's drama Major Crimes, and the time is finally here.

The actor will be stepping into the shoes of hotshot lawyer Bobby G. Monroe on Monday, November 16. As Soap Central previously reported, Monroe is an anti-death penalty activist defending Slider (Garrett Coffey), a man awaiting trial for the murder of Alice Herrera.

Rikaart has reportedly been able to juggle both Major Crimes and Y&R, meaning his Genoa City screen time won't be affected.

Prior to landing the role of Monroe, Rikaart starred in Major Crimes' sister series, The Closer, in 2005.
