Vince regretted losing her for years.

Vance became Lucifer’s temporary vessel in Season 12 of Supernatural. He struggled with losing his girlfriend, making it easy for Lucifer to control him. Lucifer took advantage of his pain and past fame, and made him a host. Unlike his past hosts, Nick and Castiel, Lucifer enjoyed Vince's rockstar life and used his fame for power. However, despite Vince’s physical strength, his body couldn’t handle Lucifer’s power for long, which led to his death. Along with Vince, Lucifer also killed his band members and went on to find a new host.
