Eddie and Rocky from Below Deck season 3 started the romance scene on the franchise, and fans are here for it. Initially, their boatmance started great as they kept their relationship hidden from the rest of the crew.
However, trouble hit their paradise soon after the crewmates got to know about their little fling, and things started going south.
Before Eddie joined the crew, Rocky had a connection with Emile. The two had visible chemistry, and thus, during their break from charters, the rest of the crew decided that it was time to send them for a date night.
However, that crashed terribly and ended their thing. This did not stop Rocky from finding a new match in Eddie, who even had a girlfriend at the time.
There has been a lot of debate on who pursued whom at the beginning of their relationship, but it seems like it was just physical intimacy with no emotional bond. Eddie had a girlfriend back home and thus did not want his connection with Rocky to air on national TV.
However, Bravo ignored his requests when there was a huge argument about whether or not he and Rocky had done it in the "laundry room," and aired their business.
The chaos started on Below Deck when Rocky revealed being more invested in their relationship and might even have feelings. However, Eddie was adamant about keeping it under wraps and not telling anyone.
Rocky decided to take the opportunity of that and broadcast their business for the rest of the crew to know. Eddie tried very hard to deny doing anything but failed.
Rocky then revealed that they had gotten intimate three times in the laundry room and once in the restroom. She had started to like him during this time and acknowledged that things had started to get serious from her end.
Below Deck - How did Rocky and Eddie break up?
Rocky and Eddie, during their Below Deck charter season, were never romantically involved in the first place, as their bond was built on physical intimacy.
As the season ended, the two also called it quits. Eddie, who had a girlfriend at home, admitted that they broke up due to all of this chaos, but got together later.
However, Rocky was not about to let him go peacefully and admitted that the two had h**ked up two times after they did their time on the boats on Below Deck.
This was controversial given how Eddie was constantly trying to hide this fling with her for the sake of his relationship back home and how his girlfriend might react to his cheating.
Ultimately, all of this caused Eddie to opt out of returning for another season on Below Deck. As for Rocky, she was fired from the boat because of a whole lot of other reasons than this one.
Below Deck season 3 episodes, which aired in 2015, can be streamed online on Peacock right now.
