The rise of spinoff series on our screens has guaranteed a longer stay of our beloved characters. The spinoff shows often depict the stories of well-liked characters or storylines that deserved more space to be explored.

Many times, some minor characters impress us with their storylines and glimpses of their lives that are shared on these TV shows intrigue us to know more about these characters and their lives. In this article, we have listed 10 such supporting characters that deserved a spinoff show of their own.

Migs and two other Jacquins, Skylar and Luna, are the only Jacquins who support Elena’s rule in Avalor as she learns to rule her kingdom. Among the three, Migs is the most intelligent and wise. He keeps the other two jacquins in check.

Although, initially, he may appear to be cold, as seen during his opposition to making Skylar the next Navegeera, he has appeared wise and composed and also opened up to Elena in later seasons. With a spinoff series, we can get a look at Migs’s past life, giving his character more depth.

Everyone deserves an art teacher like Nathan Ajayi (Fisayo Akinade) from Heartstopper in their lives. He was one of those characters who supported and guided Charlie.

His small interactions with Charlie and then letting him have his lunch in the art room to escape the bullies also cemented their beautiful relationship. Furthermore, he is one of the first allies of Charlie when he is outed. He also advised Charlie about not letting fear control him, as when he was his age, he couldn’t ask his crush out due to his fear and regretted it. Before Bran Stark, a Targaryen bastard named Brynden Rivers was the three-eyed raven in human form. In the cave of the three-eyed raven, Brynden reveals some details about his life, such as his affection for a woman and his brothers, one of whom he hated and the other he loved.

This information suggested that he was Aegon IV Targaryen’s bastard son. A spinoff on his life might give us a glimpse of the early lives of the Targaryens, just like House of the Dragon, and explore more about the existence of the three-eyed raven.

She died in an accident when her flamekeeper tried to kill Clarke. Due to the flame, Lexa’s consciousness still exists without her physical body. However, a spinoff series accounting for her life, documenting her childhood and later becoming a commander, would be a hit among the fans.


2) Giyu Tomioka (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba)

One of the main members of the Demon Slayer Corps and the water hashira, Giyu, plays an important part in saving Tanjiro and Nezuko in Demon Slayer.

He also helps Tanjiro get accepted into the Demon Slayer Corps. However, we later discover that his self-doubt about not killing any demon during the final selection has resulted in him developing an inferiority complex, due to which he initially does not take part in training the demon slayers in the Hashira training.

With a spinoff series, we might be able to see Giyu’s many adventures and learn more about his background, which could help us more to figure out his stoic and aloof personality.

Jeon Seok-dae got involved with Si-eun and his friends due to his cousin Yeong-bin. In the first season of Weak Hero, we got to see that even after being a delinquent, Seak-dae was wise and considerate and cared about his group.

A spinoff series will give us a look into Seok-dae’s life before he became a part of the delinquent gang by exploring more about his background. We see that he despised living a life like that; a spinoff series might give him a chance to get over his challenges and live a better life.
