Friends is a popular NBC sitcom that had a successful run of 10 seasons from 1994 to 2004. It was created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman. The show is about the lives of six friends living in New York. Rachel Green, played by Jennifer Aniston, is one of the main protagonists of the show. She is known for her stylish, sassy, and charismatic personality. Initially, her character is a rich spoiled brat because she comes from a rich and privileged family. There are several mentions and appearances by her family which lets the audience know about Rachel’s family dynamic.

Reese Witherspoon played the role of Jill Green, Rachel’s spoiled younger sister. She appeared in two episodes of season 6's episode 13 titled “The One with Rachel’s Sister” and episode 14 titled “The One Where Chandler Can’t Cry”. Jill Green is a rich, spoiled, and pampered woman living off of her father’s money.

In the show, she comes to visit Rachel, as her dad had cut her off financially and wants her to be financially independent, like her sister Rachel. Jill is like a less mature version of Rachel, she was just like Rachel back when she ran away from her wedding and started living with Monica. She came to her elder sister as she knew she would help her. Even after getting cut off financially, she went shopping which shows her ignorant and privileged attitude.

Rachel and Jill were not very close with each other and the distance between them can be seen. She was jealous of her sister being financially independent, living in her own apartment. She was a brat who couldn’t take no for an answer. When Rachel tells her to not date Ross, it makes her want to pursue Ross romantically even more. But when she failed to seduce Ross, she decided to cut short her stay at her sister’s place.

Christina Applegate played the role of Amy Green, the other self-centered sister of Rachel. She appeared in two episodes - season 9 episode 8 titled “The one with Rachel’s other sister” and season 10 episode 5 titled “The one where Rachel’s sister babysits”. Amy Green is a rude, ignorant, and spoiled woman because of her rich and privileged family background.

In the episode “The one with Rachel’s other sister”, Amy visits her sister Rachel on the day of Thanksgiving. Rachel invites her to Monica’s thanksgiving dinner as her plans get canceled. She was rude to everyone and passed insensitive comments on them, making them not like her at all. Despite her attitude and personality, she was upset and didn’t understand why they would not name her as Emma’s guardian if anything happened to them. Rachel tried to make her understand that she is not a responsible adult and she cannot take responsibility for a child. Things get heated between them and Amy comments that Rachel’s baby is not good looking which leads to a fight between them.

Amy’s second appearance was on season 10 in the episode “The one where Rachel’s sister babysits”. Her irresponsible behavior continues when she again visits her sister, Rachel. Even though Ross doesn’t want it, Rachel decides to let Amy babysit their daughter. She believed Amy could change her rude behavior and they should give her a chance. But it turns into a disaster as she got Emma’s ears pierced without Ross or Rachel’s consent.
