Only Murders in the Building's upcoming season
The 5th season of Only Murders in the Building was announced on September 5, 2024, on the official Instagram handle of the show. In an interview with The Wrap, the executive producer of the show, Dan Fogelman, shared updates on the upcoming season. He shared that the production of the next season will start ‘relatively soon.’ The creator of the show, John Hoffman, told The Wrap that the Hulu comedy is planning to start production on the new season in March.
In the interview, Fogelman also hinted at guest stars in the upcoming season and said, “I was just texting with Steve Martin and Marty Short and John Hoffman this morning. We can expect more big guest stars that’ll probably be announced sooner rather than later.” He also teased about the storyline and shared that the next season will include “another big fun mystery the writers have been cooking up”.
