Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story is the latest installment in Netflix's Monsters anthology series, which revolves around the infamous case of the Menendez brothers who murdered their parents, José and Kitty Menendez. The case was set back in 1989 and has been narrated through 9 episodes. The series was created by showrunners Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan, airing the first episode back on September 19, 2024.


During its release run on the streaming platform Netflix, the series brought in 12.3 million views in just 4 days. The series went on to bag a total of 19.5 million views, being the most-watched series on the platform in its 2nd week, and by the end of its first month, the series received a total of 13.1 million views and 8.7 million views in its 3rd and 4th weeks.
