It doesn't necessarily HAVE to be Gio. But if you missed that anvil dropping, there was no reason for Chase to say "I'm glad we'll be doing this the first time together" (referencing being a parent), unless there is a pregnancy that BLQ has not revealed. Given the family she grew up with, if she had gotten pregnant at 14 to 16, she wouldn't have had an abortion. Since she was SORASd to be around 37 now (back in 2004), the ages could work. And according to GH Wiki, Ned is 65.
I thought it was a good week. Better if Laura, or even Lucky or Kevin, had been by Lulu's bedside when she awakened. But I'm giving the writers a pass because the story is moving quickly.
I'm also struggling with the fact that Cody sat by Lulu's bedside, but did not recognize her in his truck? I guess we just have to accept that, pre transplant she had some type of tube's or apparatus, and post transplant she was stabilized? I've searched that sometimes comatose patients do not require life support systems, so we will give them a "SOAP" pass.
James is just about the most refreshing and entertaining character on the show. More, please! And the family dynamic with him, Maxie, and Spinelli is the anchor this show needs.
The trial has been excellent. It seems the most authentic of anything shown here for ages. I was not the biggest Ric Lansing fan, but I really like this incarnation, who is trying to be a little better person, and trying to keep Molly from some of his mistakes.
Could have done without Natalia lying on the stand. Why?
And we are supposed to believe that teen or preteen BLQ gave birth to a Quartermain heir, but the child was passed to one of Lois's family friends and BrookLyn doesn't know Gio is hers? And she swore to be honest with Chase, but didn't bother to tell him she had a child 20 to 22 years ago? Too convoluted, and for no good story. But when she was an adolescent, she must have remembered to remove her panties ( and pj's, and robe) before having se*.
And finally, Cyrus. This is just so...creepy! I can̈ see him wanting to help Lulu to repent for putting her in the coma, and to maybe get closer to Laura. But why try to secret her away to the Carolinas, or have a slimey orderly spying and reporting to him? I loved him telling off Lucky, but this feels like an exit story for JK.
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Looking forward to next week...
I know they really should do that, but so long as the plots move forward and we see some character growth, I'm willing to write some of it " in my head".
Aww. The boys were holding Scout's hands, and exactly where SAM's family belonged. I'm assuming Ned was with Leo, Sam's half brother, who might have struggled with a funeral, since he is Autistic. We know Monica is virtually bedridden, and Tracy was probably overseeing the 50 or so people living at the mansion.
