Another General Hospital fave is headed back to Port Charles. Tristan Rogers will reprise the role of Robert Scorpio beginning in mid-November. Rogers first appeared on GH in 1980. Rogers has also appeared on The Young and the Restless.
Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio) will be returning to General Hospital just in time for November Sweeps.
"I am feeling really good right now! My connection to GH and to this character is so strong. I think the fans will see a Robert who is the same, but also different ... and there's a reason for that difference," Rogers told Soap Opera Digest. "I was very excited about the story when it was explained to me."
Rogers appeared as a contract player on GH from 1980 to 1992. He returned to the ABC soap for guest appearances in 1995, 2006, 2008, and 2011.

In 1997, the Australian-born actor briefly played Hunter on The Bold and the Beautiful. More recently, Rogers appeared intermittently on CBS's The Young and the Restless as Colin Atkinson from December 2010 through May 9, 2012.
Y&R fans may also see Rogers in the future. In an interview with Soap Opera Uncensored, Rogers offered cryptic clues about the prospects of a Y&R comeback.
"Regards to Y&R? I have an enormous affection for the show and those I was lucky enough to work with. Something tells me I am not done there yet," Rogers teased.
Rogers first airs on November 15.
