The 2015 American superhero movie Avengers: Age of Ultron is the eleventh movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It was produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, as part of Phase Two of the MCU.
Avengers: Age of Ultron had its premiere in Hollywood, Los Angeles, on April 13, 2015, and was released in the US on May 1. Throughout its run, the movie earned over $1.4 billion worldwide and gained mostly favorable reviews from critics. It was the fourth-highest-grossing movie of 2015 and the fifth-highest-grossing movie of all time.
Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
The 2018 American superhero movie Avengers: Infinity War is the 19th movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). As part of the MCU's Phase Three, Avengers: Infinity War had its premiere on April 23, 2018, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, and was released in the US on April 27. It was a huge box office success, breaking multiple box office records, becoming the fourth overall movie and first superhero movie to earn over $2 billion globally, ranking fourth at the time of its release in the US and Canada. It was also the highest-grossing movie of 2018.
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
The 2019 American superhero movie Avengers: Endgame had its premiere on April 22, 2019, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and was released in the US on April 26. As the finale of the 22-film saga, the film was praised by critics for its emotional impact, action sequences, visual effects, acting, direction, and soundtrack. It broke several movie office records and earned $2.799 billion globally. From July 2019 to March 2021, it was the highest-grossing movie ever.
