Vail Bloom is reprising the role of Heather Stevens for the first time in more than a decade. She'll be joined by Lily Brooks O'Briant, who will play Lucy Romalotti.
When a character gets an out-of-the-blue mention on-screen, it's often a good indication that they are about to show up. And that's just what is about to happen on The Young and the Restless.

Vail Bloom will reprise her role as Heather Stevens next month, a role she previously played from 2007 to 2010. If you feel like there was another actress to play the role of Heather, you're correct. In fact, there were two. Emmy winner Eden Riegel played Heather from April 2010 to November 2011. And another Emmy-winning actress, Jennifer Landon, took on the role from June 2012 to November 2012.
For her time as Heather, Bloom received a 2008 Daytime Emmy nomination in the Outstanding Younger Actress category.

Bloom had an interesting route to Genoa City. She studied architecture at Princeton University but became interested in acting when a fellow student asked her to star in a short film.
Bloom will be joined by Lily Brooks O'Briant, who has been cast as Lucy Romalotti. This will be O'Briant's first daytime role, but the young actress already has quite a few high-profile roles under her belt.
O'Briant was a series regular on the Netflix comedy The Big Show Show, starring opposite WWE heavyweight fighter Paul Wight. She has also appeared in Amazon Prime's The Tick and the made-for-TV movie Crash & Burn. More recently, she played the title role of Ella in the 2022 Apple+ series, Life by Ella.
The Young and the Restless has not yet announced an airdate, but we will post the date as soon as it is available. If you haven't been paying attention to the calendar, next month is February... as in February Sweeps. Heather is, of course, the daughter of Paul Williams, a character that some have suggested should be killed off.
