I agree that the character of Spencer needs to be recast. Some GH fans think that Nicholas Chavez is the only handsome actor in Hollywood and can't be replaced. There are some actors that are better looking than Chavez, and can actually act. As far as the return of Esme with Spencer, that has already been done. GH has been receiving a lot of backlash regarding letting popular actors go, with the most recent being Kelly Monaco. To bring back the character of Esme with Spencer would further outrage fans, thus sending the ratings lower than they already are.
