Nancy and Steve were so great this week. I didn't cry when Sam died, but they both made me cry the next day. I loved the flashbacks and wish we had some of Dante and Sam.
I loved Robert talking to Holly. Holly not so much. She certainly has changed a lot over the years. I loved their flashbacks, but really wished it wasn't at the same timeframe they were doing Jasam. That conversation should have been for another day.
I just knew there would be medical people - cough, @Missez Premise - who would laugh at the staff trying to save Sam. GH films just down the street from Grey's. Their parking lots look exactly like each other. Just a different name. Same park too. They should just run over and ask a few questions of their medical advisors.
It always bothers me that Maxie's birthday is missed each year. When it's Halloween on the GH, I remember the pregnant clown looking for help. Great special nod to Zenon.
Can Sasha ever catch a break? Holly can never atone for missing all of the major life's events that she had gone through. Although the look on Holly's face was unbelievable thinking Sasha made everything up. Only on GH. Now that Holly has done the most damage, is it time for her to leave?
I'm curious where Danny and Scott will live. Jason's life is dangerous and Drew is hopefully headed out of town to Washington. I don't like the idea that they will be raised by the Quartermaine's. I question if Jason taking the kids Trick or Treating was a forecast that he will take them both in. He never wanted the Q's to raise Michael. Or will Dante, who knows them best raise the kids.
Hope, your columns are so much better! I am so upset that Finn and now Violet are gone. We had a long arc about Gregory that included a lot of people on the canvas. We all knew that he was going to die. We didn't know that Gregory was going to be gone along with Finn and the Violet. Chase just lost all of his family. Immediately, he became a Q and no longer has family. That's the exact thing that happened with Oscar. Everyone was pulling for him and then his mom was gone and so was Drew. His name has only been mentioned a couple times since he died. Will that be the same for Violet? GH let go of a terrific actress.
I wish they left Violet with her Aunt Liz. There's so much more story to be told there. Aiden is the only son left and it would be fun for him to have a "sister." I also think that Liz raising her niece would allow a better story. Repeating Mac and Robin. It would be believable as Finn could join Doctors without Borders as part of his recovery.
I cannot believe that they are once again giving a child to Holly and at the expense of Anna. Anna and Robert were together in the months, years leading up to them leaving the show. The exact same thing happened to Laura. All of a sudden Luke had an affair with Holly and Ethan was born. Now, we are to believe that Robert cheated on Anna and she doesn't say a word. What a mess!!!
The biggest mess is Sasha and Cody. That poor woman. Did she become Cody's cousin so that he can be so upset and go back to his con ways with her mom? Holly was manipulating him about the gambling con. She knew that if she enticed him enough, that when he found out the truth, he will jump at the chance to work with her.
I agree with everyone about Sam leaving. I hope she doesn't just die in surgery, but it looks like they set it up that way. Lucas will never forgive himself and fully believe he killed his sister.
I do see see it becoming a major story line for her family and the Spencer's. Dante and Sam have done a great job creating a family. The kids are like siblings. How are her kids going to feel about their mom dying to save Rocco's mom. Not to mention how Dante is going to be losing his 2nd love because she saved his 1st loves life. If Sam's death had no connection to Lulu, you could see the two of them getting back together quickly. But after Sam dies, it's going to take a very long time for Dante and Lulu to reconnect. At least it should. Don't know what these writers will do.
The kid who plays Danny, recently posted that he's going home after being in LA for a month. The fall out of Sam's death is going to take time to unfold.
It is funny about the shoe-polish hair, however, I believe it should be said to tptb. Maurice has no problem with gray hair. On his show, there's plenty of time that his hair is gray. He was off the show for a couple of weeks and he didn't color it. It has to be tptb that want his hair black.
My thoughts exactly. Robert was all about Anna at that time. Then again, when did Luke father Ethan. As Lucky said once, Ethan is just a bit older than Lulu. So, the writers have twice now, shown Holly as the one that slept with both men while they were seriously involved their other half's. Don't like this at all.
A few weeks back, which was probably just two days in GH time, Michael said that there had to be someone whose family needed money that would take the wrap for murdering Cates. I'm wondering if that's how Sonny is going to save Alexis.
It seem right for Marshall to be another one to leave the show. There are so many leaving now. He hasn't had much to do on the show recently. However, I was reminded that he won a few awards for his portrayal of Marshall.
I really like the addition of Isaiah. I had a hard time watching him walk with the crutches. With him being a doctor, he should know that using your armpits is dangerous. I'm surprised his arms weren't numb. Sorry, my little pet peeve as one who went from crutches to wheelchair. lol
