Why are we not hearing about the legal maneuvers and lawsuit? Like real conversations and things happening on that front? When Steffy went to FC to ask for her job back, she mentioned lawyers and lawsuits. When she did neither Carter nor Hope blinked. It was like they didn't even hear her. One would think they'd at very least pause and realize there will be a fight. Or when discussing whether or not to bring Steffy back one of them would have questioned what she said about lawsuits. But no, it was a throw away line and Carter showed no recognition of any legal battles brewing, Hope didn't twitch, Brooke didn't gasp or squint. Carter is still believing he is the savior of FC and soon all the Forresters will return to work and be happy answering to him. We've even had a couple convos with Hope and Steffy, with Hope all too comfortable and confident in her position of power, and Steffy doesn't even ask Hope what she thinks will happen to her and Carter when the lawyers get control of the company back into Forrester hands. We also had Ridge on the phone with Justin. Was it Ridge or Eric? Doesn't matter, the point is, it sounded like there was progress being made on the legal front and something would happen soon. Yet again we still haven't had Carter served with any legal challenges, no concerns about what if, no battles being fought. Instead we are focused on Daphne seducing Carter. How does this make any sense? Even if Daphne can get Carter to cheat and break up, so what? He can still be manager and put FC in debt without Hope, and Brooke won't give up the CEO chair as long as she feels the need to protect Hope and HFTF. Carter has said he's worked on this plan for years, so why would not having Hope by his side change his attitude about what he's doing to FC? He made it clear he believes he knows what is best and saw FC as a mom and pop shop, too small for his liking or his vision and dreams. He wanted to do this before he was Loganized. I think the writers are really dropping the ball on this by not having Carter even acknowledging the start of a legal battle, or dealing with the frustrations of a judge staying the LLC so he can't do anything until they all go to court. Or even being distracted by being served and realizing he could lose it all and be left with nothing, maybe even start questioning if Hope will still love and want him if he loses FC. Now that would be a conversation they should be having and a doubt springing up in his mind to make this soapy, will Hope stick by him if he fails. I don't think Daphne is going to succeed without something else happening and disrupting Carter and Hope's little bubble of righteousness and delusions of entitlement. Adding some angst and recognition of the Forresters fighting back would add a nice layer of conflict and maybe make the whole storyline a little less ridiculous. Surely we can't be asked to accept Carter isn't even a little concerned about being sued? Although I supposed we can since we're already being asked to believe not a single customer was lost, not a single buyer has walked, and somehow magically all the lines are continuing without Ridge or Eric designing.

It is obvious that Billy has mental issues. He is insecure, thinks very little of himself, can't accept his shortcomings, and blames others for his situation in life. He sees himself as a martyr for love which was ruined, of course, by Adam. After all he did for Chelsea, his efforts came to naught because of Adam who seduced her. (note the blame!) TBH, I don't understand Victor's obsession with destroying Billy either. One would think that an 80+ yr old man would have moved past his petty dislike of Billy. Apparently Victor and Billy do have something in common. Both of them are obsessed with destroying the other one. If Billy is so hellbent on blaming someone for losing Chancellor, he should have a knockdown with his mother. Don't blame Victor because Jill selected him to buy Chancellor. It's obvious that Billy has the need to blame everyone else for living their lives while he's stuck out in the woodshed because he can't accept what comes his way, either good or bad. Take Chancellor for example. He was handed that job on a silver freaking platter, and what did he do? First thing he did was to alienate, then remove, Lily who had been running the company successfully for years. His accomplishment was gaining full control. Once he got that, he made it all about himself and his power. First order of business, change the name of the company to make sure the world knew an Abbott was involved. He claimed Chancellor as HIS legacy, when in reality he had nothing to do with the company except for 5 minutes at the end. Billy is in desperate need of a psychiatrist. Desperate, desperate need!!!

Sorry, I couldn't disagree more with you if I'd tried. Ridge, his children, and grandchildren ARE Forresters. Eric raised Ridge as his son; his name is on Ridge's birth certificate. He's Ridge's father in EVERY sense of the word. And like him or not (and I DON'T, BTW!), Ridge is just as much Eric's child as Thorne, Kristen, Felicia, Rick, and Bridget. Even when Ridge found out that Massimo Marone was his bio father--and went nuclear on his mother for lying to him for all those years, IIRC--it never changed nor diminished the role Eric played, and STILL continues, to play in Ridge's. life. Why on earth does blood matter on these freaking soaps?! If you've lived your whole life as a member of a family, then you ARE part of that family, blood or no freaking blood! Massimo had nothing to do with the man Ridge is today; he didn't even know that Ridge was his son until Ridge was an adult. The idiot writers should never have gone there with Ridge in the first place, IMO. When B&B premiered back in 1987, Ridge was a freaking FORRESTER; and TPTB should have left well enough alone and kept him a Forrester instead of rewriting history and making him a Marone! IDGAD how often characters or their histories are rewritten in soaps; if it wasn't broke, then the idiot writers shouldn't have tried to fix it.

I can't stand Kristen and I hate that she always gets her way! She was able to break up Brady and Chloe and she was able to get custody of Rachael. Brady, who is supposed to be the good guy, is losing and the villain gets her way. It's depressing to watch. Image if they'd written Marlena and Stefano this way in the 80's and 90's with him always getting his way and her never getting a win. The writing is really depressing right now. I wish Brady would have gotten custody and Rachel was written as hating Kristen after finding out all the bad things she has done to Marleana, Brady and John. It would have been more interesting to watch Kristen fight for her daughter's approval instead of this terrible writing where Kirsten gets her way and Rachel loves her evil mother and is slowly becoming like her.

IMO, Sarah should have told Philip to withdraw and give the company to Xander, and in exchange, she wouldn’t tell her husband about the forgery. She would kill 2 birds with one stone. Philip would be forced to back out, but Xander wouldn’t have to go after him because he wouldn’t know about the forgery. But letting him get away with the deception while deceiving her husband is wrong; and of course it’s going to come back to bite her in the butt, but I’m sure eventually Xander will forgive her. She has forgiven him for worse.

At first, I thought Claire was a bit torn. It can't be easy discarding someone who'd raised you; but, on the other hand, someone who is pure evil. Claire is having an internal war between her head and her heart. She must have some kind of emotions when it comes to Jordan, even if she is evil, yet mentally she knows the woman is a she-devil. I think she is coming around but it still has to be a bit of a struggle at times. She is probably playing the old, "If only . . ." or "What if. . ." games in her head. I want to see Claire fully accept and embrace her new life, the life she was born to lead, and to come to accept. and realize that the woman that raised her did it for herself, not for Claire. Claire. was used because of who she was, a Newman. She was not loved simply for being herself.

I have to wonder if Victor even checks in with his security team at the end of the day to go over what they saw because if he did, Jordan coming in and out of Ian's room would have come up and Victor would have mentioned to Nick that his security team did mention that they saw a woman coming in and out of Ian's motel room after Nick suggested finding the person who is helping Ian.

What non-violent, non-criminal type person's first instinct is to kill? This is the time one calls the police, not takes the situation in one's own hands. Even if the GCPD is on par with the Keystone Cops, it's their job to find and deal with Jordan, not an old lady, her daughter and granddaughter. Come on! 👵🏻🤶🏻👧🏻 This kind of stupidity really drives me crazy. No one in his or her right mind would do this; but Nikki, Victoria, and Claire have convinced themselves they are all okay with premeditating murder. GMAB! It's going to be one giant SMH groaning farce of a situation for me. I can see myself now just RME's, SMH and sneering.

The irony - which is totally lost on Brooke - is that it is Brooke's actions and hers alone that sent Ridge out of her home and seeing that he wanted to be with someone who was always loyal to him. Ridge gave Brooke several chances to stand with him in condemning Hope and Carter's actions and acknowledge that there was no viable excuse for their behavior, and Brooke wouldn't allow him to criticize "my daughter". Then, she doubled down by accepting the CEO position and publicly supporting Hope and Carter on top of making sure that HFTF was reinstated. That's all on Brooke, not Taylor. No trickery, no enticement, no lies, no faked text messages, no seduction, just Brooke's choosing to support Hope who encouraged Carter to steal Ridge's family's company from him, and Ridge not accepting that as OK.

As for the old, tired, and boring triangle from hell, I for one have NO sympathy whatsoever for either Taylor or Brooke. At all. Once again, Taylor is setting herself up for more heartache, and it will serve her right when she gets it. How many more times does Ridge have to break her heart before she FINALLY gets the memo that she'll always be second best?! As for Brooke, she brought this on herself. She should have consulted with Ridge BEFORE she took the CEO job at FC. She called herself having a plan. What, she thought she could convince Carter to give the company back to Ridge and his family out of the goodness of his heart? Did Brooke really think that all she had to do was reveal her "plan" to Ridge, and he'd purr, Oh, Logan!", fall into her arms, and all would be right in the world?! Just exactly what did she expect? As for her being done with Ridge this time, I've heard it all before, so I would take this recent declaration with a grain of salt. I have said this before, and it bears repeating. Those who don't learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. Both women should have learned that lesson by now when it comes to Ridge; instead they've fallen all over themselves time and time again to hold onto a man who thinks he's all that and a bag of chips when he was never even worth the time of day. I heard that all three need new partners, but I couldn't disagree more. Ridge, Taylor, and Brooke don't need new partners; they to be by themselves for a change. Or just be parents and grandparents.
