We finally get a kiss between Carly and Jack - what with all the chemistry between them - and NOW they're replacing the actor who plays Jack??? BOOOOO!!!!
I double-checked, and Diane had Sam's will on her desk. Unless she refiled it in one of the boxes Alexis was going through, there may be a surprise coming. I can imagine Sam rewrote her will naming Dante as the guardian for Danny and Scout.
The direction they've taken Drew is so arbitrary and contrived. I think they tried to blame it on his "prison term" but that was never really fleshed out and this total reversal of character is just baffling.
I've been grieving the loss of Liz Masters and Tamilu, so I haven't been here lately...not that I was ever a frequent commenter.
The whole John Cates story is out of control, already. Too many intermingled threads to maintain my focus.
Sure would like to know what happened to Laura and Kevin! They went to Africa and disappeared. No one seems to have even heard from them.
I've never been a surrogate so I absolutely don't know what I'm talking about, but - it seems to me the first thing to qualify as a surrogate is acknowledge from day one that you are NOT the baby's mother - yes, I have had a child, so I'm not saying it's an easy prospect, but that's why everyone isn't cut out to be a surrogate. In this case, Kristina needed to focus on the fact that she would ALWAYS be the baby's aunt. She sold herself to Molly and TJ with that notion. She convinced them they had nothing to worry about if she became the surrogate - that she ONLY had their needs in mind. Yes, Molly and TJ took a huge risk given Kristina's history, but they chose to believe her - why wouldn't they? They were so desperate and she was so convincing. But then, she started looking for excuses to keep the baby - even going so far as to claim Molly and TJ were on the verge of breaking up, which they never were. Kristina basically pulled a bait and switch on them, blindsiding them. And with everyone fawning over Kristina (not without reason), but at the same time NOT really giving Molly HER due, it's no wonder she snapped and laid into Kristina - especially after finding the documents in her mother's briefcase (why Alexis hadn't destroyed those, I'll never understand). No - it was never Kristina's baby, not the way she sold the surrogacy to her sister. She is the one who couldn't be disciplined enough to remind herself why she was having the baby in the first place. She began by saying it was out of love and support for Molly - so where did that love and support go? I don't blame Kristina for the accident, but I sure don't feel like Molly is being given a fair shake. Kristina has always made poor choices and everyone has rushed to save her, where Molly has lived a steady life, just wanted to be a mother, and can't even get her own "Davis girls" to support her properly. I would have flipped out, too.
