This recap has all kinds of errors. I didn't get to watct live, so I read the recap because I wouldn't be able to watch until today. I just watched and wow. This person left out chunks of scenes and misquoted quite a bit, attributed comments to the wrong character and flatout got things wrong.
1. Sam didn't say that it was impossible for Carly and Sonny to sleep in Tracy's bed. She said, "There's no way in hell you and Sonny are sleeping together." Sam also said, "No way in hell you and Sonny have gotten back together."
2. Sam is the one who told Carly that Sonny has people and resources to get him out of trouble. Carly didn't say that to Sam.
3. Jordan gave Isaiah a danish not a "take out burger." It was morning not lunch or dinner. Don't make stuff up if you can't take the time to look.
4. The quote attributed to Alexis is also wrong. Alexis said, "Kristina will defend both her parents, and she will do it in a way that will ruin her life."
5. Martin was also misquoted. He said, "Let me get this straight. Your daughter -- a grown woman, an adult -- cannot control herself or be controlled in that courtroom?"
6. Sonny was misquoted too. He said, "Cates was harrassing you. He was tormenting you for weeks. Your feelings were all over the place. You probably felt like the only way to stop the pain was to end his life."
There are more errors, but that's just a few examples. If you are going to quote someone, at least get it right. I keep giving these new people a chance, but they keep disappointing me.
What are you talking about? Less pop-up ads? Do you really think you can convince anyone of that when we are literally seeing them pop up on our screens at this very moment? Links that work when we couldn't access the archives for weeks? I don't remember links not working when Dan ran this site. Cleaner navigation? That's a joke right? Maybe you mistook this site for Soap Hub. It's got the same generic look.
I'm not sure what your definition of an opinion column is, but mine includes commentary and insight and more than a basic summary of the week. You might not have liked how Tamilu and Liz wrote but plenty of us did, which is why they a successful column for two decades. They also engaged their readers and even highlighted their comments in their columns.
Am I crabby? Hell yeah I am. I used to love this site and all it had to offer, but in just a few short months it's gone down the toilet. I've been trying to give the new owners time to work out the kinks, but I think I'm done here. Like I said, even the recaps are articles are garbage.
@scrimmage @missezpremise, you guys rock. Thanks for all the laughs over the years. Tamilu and Liz were the best part of my Saturday morning, but you guys were a close second.
I had a feeling last week when I saw that Tamilu and Liz Masters were leaving the site that this would happen. Lately, hacks have been flooding the site with article after article about the most ridiculous things, so I'm not surprised that one of them would take over the Two Scoops. What a disappointment.
This person didn't even bother to introduce herself to us or put any real effort into writing something that comes close to the quality of content we got from Tamilu and Liz. It's kind of insulting really.
I used to come here every week to read the recaps, columns and enjoy the comments. You guys are great, but I can't say the same for theTwo Scoops. More like 1/4 scoop. The recaps have gotten bad too. Sloppy quotes, missing chunks of scenes, and an overall lack of attention to important details. I'm starting to see why the ladies bailed because the quality of this site has gone downhill. I saw an article about pumpkin spice tumblers not too long ago. WTH does that have to do with soaps or even daytime entertainment?
This Two Scoops is my final straw, so I decided to comment.
