Small error-- Luna is Steffy's step daughter, not daughter-in-law. I can't imagine she will take the news well. After all, this is the 2nd of Finn's relatives to torture/try to kill her. I don't expect anyone in her shoes to welcome them with open arms. I wouldn't be surprised if Luna/Sheila teamed up as I am unconvinced either is reformed.
Ridge and Steffy are descendants of the founders (ie Stephanie). They are also who Eric wants to lead/own the company. But, a good conflict is fun to watch. Hope definitely is enjoying the crown right now. I am also unsure if she was manipulating Carter from the start, but her last conversation with him switched back and forth between "you did" and "we did," and including a lot of what she needs. She couldn't even read the room when she was the only one enjoying the success of the jewelry launch. I don't feel she is truly supporting Carter. It will be interesting to see how she reacts to the Carter/Daphne situation she spied on in the preview. I think her response will be very telling as to which she loves more--Carter or power at the company.
Nothing about this business story makes sense. Steffy's plan to get it back doesn't make sense, but then again, Carter getting control illegally (in the real world) doesn't make sense either. The writers can make anything happen, no matter how ridiculous.
If Steffy gets put down for slapping Sheila, Brooke should not be praised for slapping Ridge. IMO both deserved getting slapped, and one would argue that Sheila deserves it more. As for this stupid triangle, Brooke is not doing anything worth praising unless she actually means it and stays away from Ridge. Ridge is an ass for going back and forth, Taylor is stupid for letting him, but so is Brooke. Ridge is NOT her destiny, your destiny would not keep doing this to you. Take a page from Steffy (and now Hope's) playbook and leave him for good.
