Victor ordered his security team to keep a watch on Ian 24/7 so how come nobody has reported that a woman seems to be living at the seedy motel with him?Even with her ridiculous "disguises," Victor's security team should have noticed several different women showing up at the motel and staying overnight. Seems to me that is something Victor might like to know and maybe see some photos of her. I guess Victor thought he hired a crack security team but got a team that smokes crack instead.
It is impossible to even imagine Billy Miller's Drew speaking to Carly like that while Michael was fighting for his life in the hospital, or having an affair with Michael's wife for that matter. I still think this skeevy Drew is an impostor. No matter what Drew went through, there's no way his whole personality and values changed.
Both Willow and Drew appear to think that since they are in love, getting together is the right thing to do no matter what and everybody, including Michael, should understand. Like who doesn't root for love? These two idiots are in for some unpleasant surprises.
It's true that Hope egged Carter on but Steffy and Ridge seem to be entirely blaming Hope and acting like she seduced Carter and manipulated him into doing this against his will. Apparently Steffy thinks if she can break up Carter and Hope, that Carter will just fold and give the company back and everything will go back to the way it was minus Hope and HFTF. I don't think that will happen because he's had a taste of power, he likes it and he really believes in his vision of making FC a purveyor of luxury brands. Carter was the one who put the moves on Hope, not the other way around, and stealing control of the company with the LLC documents was his idea, which he apparently had thought about before he hooked up with Hope, he's the one who carried it out, and he's justifying his betrayal by claiming he did it for Hope and the other overlooked employees. But, as usual on this show, the women are blamed for everything and the man suffers no consequences.
The whole coup story is so stupid. IRL the Forresters would have called a shareholders' meeting and voted Carter and Brooke out of the C-suite and reinstated Ridge and Steffy, then fired Carter, Brooke and Hope and dumped HFTF. The LLC papers may have given Carter managerial powers but it didn't give him any voting shares, and that's where the real power lies. The fact that Justin hasn't figured this out makes me think he's in cahoots with Carter.
WTH is Bill thinking? Luna murdered two men in cold blood and kidnapped and attempted to kill Steffy so her sentence must be at least 20 years. Does Bill honestly think he can keep Luna's presence in his home a secret for 20 years when Liam is living there and Radio Free Katie comes and goes whenever she likes? It's just ridiculous.
It's disgusting that Taylor is setting herself up for more heartache, and baffling that Steffy is so tickled about it. Taylor may look happier than she has in a long time, but Steffy should know what's coming next because she's seen it with her own eyes time and time again -- Ridge will dump Taylor and go rushing back to Brooke, leaving Taylor devastated. But, once again, Steffy is stuck on blaming only the Logans for everything from her mother's heartbreak to global warming, and refuses to even consider what a horrible jerk Ridge is.
Is Portia ever going to report the digitalis overdoses to the police? She should have reported it after Sam's autopsy and definitely after Dex was an OD too. One time might have been a mistake but not twice and it's weird that she's stalling about reporting it.
Is anybody ever going to investigate or even mention John Cates' murder? How about Austin's murder? Are we just supposed to pretend none of it ever happened?
Anna is getting nuttier by the day. I wouldn't put it past Brennan to use Emma if he needed leverage over Anna, but tazing him like that was way over the top. It was nice to see a little glimpse of Anna Freaking Devane instead of the weepy mess she's been for a long time, but there are other more appropriate areas to use her skills.
Why would Drew even suggest that Willow bring Wiley to DC? I don't recall Drew having any particular relationship with Wiley, he's too young to really appreciate the lengthy pomp and ceremony and you'd think Drew would want to have Willow to himself. Is Drew deliberately trying to antagonize Michael into divorcing Willow? I still think nuDrew is an impostor. There's just no way the decent, loyal Drew we knew before he "died" would have an affair with Michael's wife while boinking her mother, or lie to his best friend Curtis, or try to push Ned out of ELQ, or do any of the things he's been doing since he returned.
Why are you calling out Michael when it's Phyllis who is acting childish and petty. Phyllis had no problem when Michael stuck his neck out and helped her after she faked her death and was the town pariah, but she won't accept that he's doing the same for Sharon, who is also his friend. Michael has tried to tell her that representing Sharon is completely separate from his friendship with Phyllis but she won't hear it and has told him repeatedly that he is no longer her friend and she will never forgive him. Phyllis insists that all her friends can only be friends with people she likes and Summer is the same way, either you're for them or against them. If Michael had approached their table, Phyllis and probably Summer would have started in on him so what would be the point?
As soon as the new Lady Whistleblower started posting about B&S plots to come, I thought of Kerry not Javi. Kerry said he was Leo's biggest fan but that could either be true or a ruse to get close to him. Kerry gives off a dishonest vibe and he could be cozying up to Leo for a number of reasons. When Leo turned him down for a roll in the hay, Kerry decided to pay him back by destroying B&S.
Phyllis acts like a middle schooler -- "If you're friends with Sharon, you can't be friends with me!" Funny how Phyllis calls out Michael for taking on Sharon's case when he knows she's guilty but Phyllis didn't have a problem when he took on her case after she faked her death and killed Jeremy even though he knew she was guilty too. At least Sharon feels remorse for Heather's death but Phyllis has never expressed any real regret for anything she has ever done. She pays lip service to regret if she's forced to, but Phyllis feels 100% justified in doing whatever she wants and always blames someone else for giving her no choice. Sharon and Michael are friends and he knows her well enough to suspect there's more to the story than they know. Getting to the truth would be much more healing for Daniel and Lucy than Phyllis' blind revenge but Phyllis is too narcissistic to see that.
It shows how delusional Carter and Hope are that they seem to think everybody will be angry and upset about the coup at first but then they'll all settle down and get to work on Carter's plans for the company. WTH are those two smoking? Looking forward to the day they realize they are in charge of nothing since HFTF is still not selling and FC has no designers besides RJ (and even he might side with his dad).
Hope is certainly not blameless, but Ridge is going too far to blame her for everything and acting like Carter is her clueless victim. It was Carter who went to Hope with "revised numbers" and plenty of flirtatious compliments; Hope did not ask him to do any of this. It was Carter who came up with the plan and executed it with Hope egging him on. We will never know if Carter would have done this if Hope wasn't in the picture but he was definitely upset and angry that the Forresters were not interested in his luxury brand idea. He had apparently been dragging his feet on the LLC Ridge asked him to set up so he may have already been contemplating the coup before he got Hope on board. Hope should definitely share in the blame but Carter is the instigator and should be held to account as well.
Now Ridge has every right to be furious but what kind of azzhat calls a woman a sl*t and a b*tch TO HER MOTHER and then is surprised when he gets pushback? There are many ways he could express his anger without resorting to cheap shot name calling that wouldn't put Brooke on the defensive. If he'd said something like "I am so disappointed that Hope participated in this," Brooke would likely agree with him but, by blaming Hope for 100% of it and nasty name calling, any mother is going to defend her child whether she agrees with what she did or not.
