I was Team Taylor back in the day when Taylor actually followed her own moral and ethical code. I enjoyed Krista Allen as Taylor, she was a rarely seen grounded Taylor. And now we have tiny Rebecca Buddig, a terrific actress but she is much too young to be playing Taylor! How insulting to Katherine Kelly Lang and Thorsten Kaye. I always this image of tiny Taylor either at Steffy's or in the office with a big bowl of popcorn on her lap and chiming in with her own "wise" commentary on what's happening there.
Molly is a good character type in that she shows that people don't grieve in the same way and some people struggle with processing their grief openly. They often shut down and fall back on routine for comfort. Often people who grieve that way appear cold and uncaring next to people who are openly sobbing and tearing their clothes in a show of public misery, but they are in just as much pain, maybe even more, because they have no outlet to.express their feelings.
I think Alexis would have been the perfect person to help Molly through her grief but Kristina's ongoing trainwreck of obsession and wailing grief has kept Alexis and even Sam (RIP) focused on Kristina and left Molly to fend for herself
Kristina has always been self-involved and now she keeps getting worse as she digs in deep to continue to wallow in the loss of TJ and Molly's baby which Kristina decided to make her own as she obssesses on blaming Ava for the ONE thing Ava didn't do! Alexis should have stepped in with Kristina when she was beginning to think of the baby.as hers and she was using TJ and Molly arguing at the time as part of her reasoning. Alexis.has always coddled Kristina and didn't come down hard on Kristina when Kristina began losing perspective on who's baby she was carrying! With Kristina's latest cruel.jab at her sister, I hope Alexis realizes how far out of line Kristina has gotten and how useless Alexis and Sonny have been as proper parents.
Ridge has such vitriol towards Hope that he blames HOPE for Carter's behavior. It's interesting to me that no one has brought up the fact that when Carter was giving the manipulated LLC paperwork for Ridge and Steffy to sign and Ridge noticed Carter's signature upon it and was asking Carter why but before Carter could come up with a suitable reason, TAYLOR, who was hanging around the office during business meetings as usual, distracted Ridge from inquiring further with Carter and so Ridge and Stuffy signed the papers while talking about how trustworthy good 'ole Carter is.
All.that aside,.I have never heard anything about bringing on a recast for the character of Jasper Jacks after Ingo Rademacher was let go. Unlike Steve Burton's character of Jason, Jax isn't important enough to drive any old or new storylines so why would the producers bother recasting the character or bringing IR.back. They should have kept Kelly Monocco though. Sam was constantly involved in ongoing storylines. Such a waste!
Good to see Kristina still has her priorities in the right place. Squarely focused on herself. Instead of supporting Alexis, Kristina walks away to feel sorry for herself since Alexis is too preoccupied to cater to her pain. Kristina even calls Michael to come and comfort her. Never mind, that Michael is grieving Sam too!
Ridge played father figure to Hope and she did call him Dad when she was younger but once Hope became a young adult and wanted to start her own line that Ridge expressed concern that Hope's paternity would be an embarrassment to the company. Hope completely dropped Ridge from having any father figure role in her life when Liam was going through his usual flip flopping between Hope and Steffy.and Liam decided - for the moment - Hope was the lucky bride for the wedding in Italy but when Ridge was asked to design the traditional Forrester wedding dress for Hope, he refused out of support for Steffy! Eric stepped in and designed a lovely dress for Hope.
If we had to endure Sam's controversial death than why not show more flashbacks from Sam's 21 years in Port Charles. Such as when Dante and Alexis were sitting by dead Sam's bed. As much as I enjoyed the flashbacks of Robert and Holly flashbacks, thinking why aren't we seeing but I couldn't stop thinking why are we seeing this? Where.are m flashbacks?
