General Hospital's Lexi Ainsworth (Kristina Davis) is heading to TBS with a new role on The Guest Book.
Lexi Ainsworth just returned as General Hospital's Kristina Davis, but she's already booked another gig. The actress has been cast on the TBS series The Guest Book.
Luckily, the actress' new role shouldn't affect her daytime gig, as it's a guest-starring role. Ainsworth will be appearing for just two episodes of the series that centers around a group of rental cottages, Froggy Cottage, in the small mountain town of Mount Trace.
Ainsworth is in good company, as the TBS series stars several daytime actors including Aloma Wright (Maxine, Days of our Lives), Laura Bell Bundy (ex-Marah Shayne Lewis, Guiding Light), and Maureen McCormick (ex-Rebecca Hotchkiss, Passions).

The Guest Book was created by My Name is Earl writer Greg Garcia and is based upon the Emmy winner's real-life habit of writing fake guest book entries while on vacation to freak out the vacationers who visit after him. The central characters (town citizens) remain the same in each episode, but each episode features new guest-starring visitors.
Ainsworth joined the cast of GH in 2009 and has played the role of Alexis and Sonny's daughter on-again, off-again since then. News of her most recent return to Port Charles hit in July. There's still no word on how long Kristina will stick around on the canvas this time around, but when she returned to town last week, she said it would be a short trip. Fingers crossed something convinces her to change her mind and stick around a little longer.
