GH alum Bryan Craig cast in American Fighter

Former General Hospital star Bryan Craig (ex-Morgan Corinthos) has been cast in American Fighter, a follow-up to American Wrestler.

General Hospital fans who are still heartbroken over Bryan Craig's exit as Morgan Corinthos now have a little something that might cheer them up: the actor has started work on a new film.

ESX Entertainment posted a photo of the former daytime star along with actor George Kosturos on the set of American Fighter, the sequel to Warner Bros.' 2017 flick American Wrestler: The Wizard.

The original story, which starred Kosturos, William Fichtner, Jon Voight, and others, followed an Iranian teenager who moved to the United States and joined his school's floundering wrestling team.

At this time, it's unclear what character Craig will play in the film that began shooting this month.

As fans may recall, the actor landed a "brutal" film called Ride shortly after leaving GH in 2016. There were also rumors earlier this year that he'd joined The Young and the Restless, but Craig told Soap Central that he is definitely not headed to Genoa City.
