Is General Hospital alum Bryan Craig (ex-Morgan Corinthos) really heading to The Young and the Restless? Soap Central spoke with the actor to find out.
Ever since Emmy-winning actor Bryan Craig decided to leave his role as General Hospital's Morgan Corinthos late last year, fans have been desperately hoping he'll eventually change his mind and return to Port Charles. Sadly, a GH return seems unlikely (he left the role to pursue other projects, after all), but rumor has it that he may be heading to The Young and the Restless.
Shortly before Craig took home yet another Daytime Emmy Award for his outstanding work as Morgan, Internet rumors began popping up that he was possibly in talks to join daytime's number one soap. However, the actor himself tells Soap Central there's no truth to the gossip.
"That's definitely not true. My people haven't talked to Y&R. That's just a rumor," he says.

However, the good news is he isn't opposed to the possibility of returning to daytime -- as long as it were on a recurring basis.
"The contracts just seem really binding right now. I would even be open to going back to GH, but it's a scheduling thing," he reveals. "I have a few things coming up, and when you're under contract, it kind of takes up all your time. But I'm open to returning [to GH] if things could work out. So we'll see."
Luckily for viewers who are desperate to see Craig back on-screen -- whether it's in Port Charles or otherwise -- the Florida native was cast as a character named Jack in an upcoming film called Ride. He posted a teaser photo of himself in what looks to be a very dark and menacing role, and more details are bound to be released shortly.
Were you hoping Craig was indeed heading to Y&saR? What do you think about his confession that he'd be willing to return to GH if his contract status were different?
