Another familiar face will be headed back to Port Charles in the coming weeks: Rick Springfield will reprise the role of Noah Drake beginning in March. Springfield, also known for a successful music career, debuted on General Hospital in 1981.
The high-profile returns keep on coming! Rick Springfield (Noah Drake) will rejoin General Hospital for a short-term run in March.
Noah's return to Port Charles comes hot on the heels of the previously announced returns of Finola Hughes (Anna Devane), Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio), and Emma Samms (Holly Sutton).
Springfield was born the son of a Lieutenant Colonel in the British Army and spent his childhood on various army bases in Australia and Britain. As a teenager, he fronted many music bands, which later paved the way for his success as a solo artist. Springfield earned a #1 hit with "Jessie's Girl" in 1981. During the same time, Springfield appeared on General Hospital, ending a two-year run with the show in 1983.
When last spotted in Port Charles back in 2008, Noah left town amid concerns that he needed help for alcohol addiction.
Springfield will return to the GH set in February, and his first episodes will air beginning in March.
