Betsy Franco will reprise her role as Betsy on General Hospital -- but this time it won't be to her real-life son Franco.
While her real-world son is no longer playing the role, Betsy Franco will reprise the role of fictional Franco's mother on General Hospital.
ABC has confirmed that Franco, who first appeared on GH when her son James Franco was guest-starring on the soap, will reprise the role of Betsy Franco/Karen Anderson sometime later this year. Betsy Franco was last seen on-screen in May 2013.
A first airdate was not released nor was any information about the duration of her stint.
