Another daytime star has taken to the Internet to deny reports that their soap time is coming to an end. Greg Vaughan, who has played Lucky for six years, is denying reports that he's been taken off contract.
Greg Vaughan (Lucky Spencer) recently took to his personal Twitter page to dispel rumors that he'd been fired by General Hospital.
Months ago, published reports first surfaced that claimed Vaughan was being taken off contract. Vaughan wasn't the only GH star's name that had been attached to those rumors. The same reports also claimed that Rick Hearst (ex-Ric Lansing) and Megan Ward (Kate Howard) were also being dropped from contract status.
Since then, though, Hearst has been dropped to recurring and Hearst left GH to reprise a role on The Bold and the Beautiful. Is this a case of where there's smoke, there's fire?

"I have not been put on recurring status," Vaughan clarified, before adding with a laugh, "but it feels like it!"
Vaughan assumed the role of Lucky Spencer from Jacob Young, who now appears as All My Children's JR Chandler, in February 2003. Prior to settling in Port Charles, Vaughan appeared for a year on The Young and the Restless as Diego Guittierez.
