General Hospital's Donnell Turner (Curtis Ashford) addresses his status in a time when the ABC soap is letting a lot of people go.
General Hospital fans have been put through the wringer in recent weeks. Hot on the heels of the exciting news that Steve Burton is returning to the soap opera came word that both Rebecca (Hayden Barnes) and William deVry (Julian Jerome) will soon be exiting Port Charles. In the midst of the shakeup, Donnell Turner posted an update to Twitter about his status as GH's Curtis Ashford.
In response to several supportive fan messages, the Washington native wrote: "Thanks for all the love and concern. Shucks, if y'all will have me, I ain't going nowhere! I [love] my GH."

Turner, a model and former semi-pro basketball player, got his start in the soap world as Dr. Aiden Williams on Days of our Lives. He joined GH in November 2015 and quickly became a fan favorite.
