Michael Easton said goodbye to General Hospital, and his former co-stars had nothing but praise for the actor who brought three characters to life on one soap.
After a dozen years on General Hospital, Michael Easton posted a goodbye to the soap and its fans in a video taken outside the studio after filming his last scenes. Those scenes aired on June 26, as Hamilton Finn accepted he had a drinking problem and left for rehab.
Easton began his GH tenure in 2012 as his One Life to Live character John McBain before moving on to playing Silas Clay. Silas was killed in 2015, but in 2016, Easton returned as Finn, who remained a Port Charles mainstay until this week.
When Easton posted his goodbye video on Instagram, his GH co-stars expressed how much they would miss him and what a pleasure it was to work with him.

"The class, grace and elegance in which you just did that is why I will miss you every working day," wrote Nancy Lee Grahn, who played one of Finn's BFFs Alexis, who some fans felt Finn should have been paired with.
Finola Hughes, who plays Finn's ex-fiance Anna Devane also had a special message for her character's former love interest.
"Michael, love you," she said. "You are a stellar person, a wonderful actor and I had the most fun and unique storyline with you and loved every moment."
Tanisha Harper (Jordan Ashford) will miss Easton's sense of humor.
"Oh sweet Michael it was always such a pleasure to work with you," Harper posted. "You never failed to make me laugh whenever I saw or worked with you on set. All my love to you! You will be missed."
Jon Lindstrom (Kevin Collins/ex-Ryan Chamberlain) also had praise for Easton, who began his soap career on Days of our Lives in 1991 as Tanner Scofield.
"You're a gift to any set you choose to work on, and an excellent artist no matter where or what you create," he wrote. "Proud to call you my friend Michael. Be seeing you soon."
Maura West (Ava Jerome) touched on all of Easton's creative endeavors in her message while revealing some cute nicknames.
"MEastie, I am so grateful I had the opportunity to work with you ... you are just an exceptional person... as an actor, author, poet, friend," she wrote. "Your ample talent surpassed only by your humor, decency, kindness and charm. Class A1 in every way. xxo your fan and friend forever, MWestie."
