Former General Hospital star Bryan Craig has signed on to the Indie film Women Is Losers, which tells the inspirational story of a South American immigrant who beats all the odds against her.
Fans who are missing former General Hospital star Bryan Craig (ex-Morgan Corinthos) will be happy to hear that the actor has a film in the works: Bowery Hill Entertainment's Women Is Losers.
Deadline reports that Craig has signed on opposite Lorenza Izzo, who plays a young Latina named Celina whose promising future is cut short with an unexpected pregnancy during the mid 1970s in San Francisco. Against all odds, while working multiple jobs, this young single mother, daughter of South American immigrants, fights the system and becomes a successful landowner.
"I think you will all love this one," Craig wrote on Instagram following the news that he had been cast as Women Is Losers' Mateo.

Craig starred as GH's Morgan from 2013 to 2018, earning two Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series. As soap opera fans likely already know, he is one of the stars of the upcoming ABC series Grand Hotel and also stars in the films Ride and American Fighter, both scheduled for release later this year.
UPDATE (February 15, 2021): General Hospital fans will be happy to know that Bryan Craig has announced more news about his film, Women Is Losers: the inspirational project will be making its world premiere at the 2021 South by Southwest Film Festival this March.
"Always been a goal of mine to star in a movie at SXSW," the actor shared on Instagram. "Couldnt be happier to have done it with this group of talented performers and creatives. Excited to announce the world premiere of our movie, Women Is Losers. Here we go 2021!"
Held each year in Austin, Texas, the South by Southwest Film Festival (often shortened to SXSW) celebrates the interactive media, music, and film industries. Last years event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and this year's SXSW will take place virtually from March 16-20. The festival gives independent movies a chance to be noticed and given distribution deals, so fingers crossed for Craigs Women Is Losers!
