General Hospital star Brandon Barash (ex-Johnny Zacchara) is heading to the time-travel drama Timeless in the role of Ernest Hemingway.
Classic American novelist Ernest Hemingway once said happiness in intelligent people is the rarest thing he knows. So it's pretty obvious he didn't know soap fans, especially fans of General Hospital's Brandon Barash (ex-Johnny Zacchara).
The actor, who currently stars on Major Crimes, is scheduled to make an appearance as Hemingway on NBC's time-hopping drama Timeless, and daytime fans are smart enough to know this is a role to be delirious about. Oh, and Barash agrees.
"Well ain't this gonna be fun," he tweeted about the episode that takes place in Paris during the Jazz Age, right after World War I.

Barash's Hemingway, according to TV Line, is a "budding newspaper reporter with a sense of adventure, still recovering from the brutality of the war with the help of a strong drink... or two."
Timeless returns to NBC with new installments beginning Monday, January 16, at 10/9C. Watch for Barash to appear in the episode that airs on Monday, February 6.
