Born on December 22, 1962, Ralph Nathaniel Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes, aka Ralph Fiennes, is an English actor, film producer and director. He is one of the most popular and well-known British actors who has also received numerous accolades, including a Tony and a BAFTA award. The now 62-year-old actor made his debut in 1985 on the stage but didn’t hit the small screen until 1991 and the big screen until 1992, in Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights.
However, it wasn’t until his role in Schindler’s List two years later that Fiennes hit the spotlight, as his portrayal of the Nazi war criminal Amon Goth earned rave reviews. Fiennes earned his first Academy Award nomination with his other two coming a few years later for his roles in The English Patient and Conclave. Aside from that, Fiennes is also known for his role as Lord Voldemort in the Harry Potter film series and for playing M in the James Bond films since 2012.
