Olga Kurylenko is a Ukrainian-French actress and model who is well-known for her role as a Bond girl opposite Daniel Craig in “Quantum of Solace (2008).” Born on November 14, 1979, in Berdyansk, Ukraine, she was raised by her mother and grandmother after her parents’ divorce. Despite her financial circumstances, Kurylenko studied art, languages, piano, and ballet during her childhood. At the age of 13, while on a trip to Moscow, she was scouted by a modelling agency, which set her on a path toward an international modeling career.


By age 16, Kurylenko had moved to Paris and quickly mastered French. She signed with the Madison modeling agency and later appeared on the covers of major magazines such as Glamour, Elle, and Marie Claire. She also became the face of brands such as Clarins and Helena Rubinstein. Transitioning to acting in the early 2000s, her film debut was in Diane Bertrand’s 2005 drama film, “The Ring Finger.” In the next few years, Kurylenko gained attention for her roles in films like “Hitman (2007)” and “Max Payne (2008).”

Kurylenko has worked in more than forty movies across her decades-long career in the industry. Following her debut in “The Ring Finger (2005),” she appeared in productions such as “Paris, Je T’aime (2006),” “Á l’est de moi (2008),” “The Assassin Next Door (2009),” and Centurion (2010).” It was her role as Camille Montes in the James Bond franchise's 2008 film “Quantum of Solace” that propelled her toward international stardom.


Kurylenko has continued to expand her filmography throughout the years by working on a diverse set of films. She portrayed Jacqui in “The Man Who Killed Don Quixote (2018),” Kate in “The Room (2019),” and Rosalind in “The Bay of Silence (2020).” More recently, she played Krystyna Kowersky in “Chief of Station (2024)” and Elsa in “Fox Hunt (2025).” She also reprises her role as Antonia Dreykov or Taskmaster in “Thunderbolts* (2025).”

Kurylenko’s television debut was as Carole in 2001, in the crime adventure series “Largo Winch.” Since then, she has appeared in shows such as “Le porte-bonheur (2006),” where she played Sophia, and “Suspectes (2007),” where she portrayed Eva Pirès. She also appeared in the sci-fi drama series “Tyranny” in 2010 and the crime drama series “Magic City” from 2012-2013.
