
Nicholas David Offerman, popularly known as Nick Offerman is an American actor best known for his role as Ron Swanson in the hit show Parks and Recreation (2009–2015). He was born on June 26, 1970, in Joliet, Illinois. In 1993, he graduated with a BFA degree from the University of Illinois and later became involved in theater. Before his breakthrough role, he had minor appearances in many TV shows.
Offerman started his acting career in the late 1990s and has worked in more than 60 films.
