Directed by Wes Ball and written by Josh Friedman, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is a science fiction action film that was released in 2024. The film is the fourth installment in the Planet of the Apes reboot series and serves as the sequel to War for the Planet of the Apes. It is the tenth overall movie in the franchise. It revolves around Noa who journeys alongside Mae, a human woman, to help determine and define the future for apes and humans. The film was released in May 2024 and grossed just under $400 million worldwide, and was even nominated at the 97th Academy Awards for the Best Visual Effects.
