Me Before You explores the unlikely love story of Louisa Clark, a lively woman with zest for life, and Will Traynor, a man who became cynical and withdrawn following an accident that changed the course of his life. Determined to bring happiness into Will's days, Louisa gradually develops a deep emotional connection with him. However, things soon take a turn for the worse following a shocking decision that Will takes. He decides to kill himself through assisted suicide because he believes Louisa cannot get a better life with a man like him.
