DAYS removed from Pop TV's schedule

Starting at the end of this week, Days of our Lives will no longer be airing on Pop TV.

Recently renewed Days of our Lives experienced a bit of a resurgence the past several months with returns by fan-favorite characters and increased ratings due to the soap's 50-year anniversary. But despite things looking generally looking up, there is a bit of bad news on the DAYS front.

Starting this Friday, April 15, the Pop TV cable network will no longer be airing same-day repeat broadcasts of the NBC soap, which it only just picked up back in August. A rep says the time slot will not be replaced by one specific show at this time.

DAYS fans are being encouraged to catch up with their favorite Salem residents weekdays on NBC or on demand on NBC.com. And, of course, if neither of those options work, you can always read all about what you missed in our Daily Recaps section.

Though Salem happenings will no longer be available via Pop TV, the network will continue to run same-day repeats of The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless.
